Tell your friends to Vote No on Prop 10- it’s a $10 billion ripoff that doesn’t clean our air.

Obamas Grandmother has died. God Bless her!!
The CARB, headed by Alan Lloyd, caved to industry pressure and repealed the Zero Emmisions Vehicle mandate. Lloyd was given the directorship of the new fuel cell institute, creating an inherent conflict of interest. Footage shot in the meetings showed how he shut down the ZEV proponents while giving the car makers all the time they wanted to make their points.
Corporations don’t usually do things without being forced to do so.

sure, but you can’t blame a government for not taking at initiative at a project that corporations and board of directors should have initiated

Take a look at the price of computers compared to 5 or 10 years ago. They’re way more powerful and cheaper now. With most new technologies, we suffer Introductory pricing, like the 1st VCR’s, DVD players, HD Cameras and so on. There never was a chance for us to buy electric cars, and see those prices drop. Oil companies don’t want to lose their place in our wallets so they allowed Hybrids so we keep sippin gas. Chevron bought the battery Technology for the Electric car to kill the electric car.

if you have enough money to actually afford an electric car over a gas one, then you are in the minority. Most “green” technologies are not viable because most of the american public cannot afford it. My parents own a hybrid soley based on the reason that it saves them gas over its the course of its life.

I’ll vote yes. Anything PG&E or SoCal Edison is for….I’m against. The Oil companies won in CA in 2006, don’t let the utility companies win this time!

What an absolute SHAME, California killed the electric car in 2003 on the same day we went to war with the country Iraq, which never attacked us. The creator of the battery for the elctric car said he had a more powerful battery, but the car makers did not want the battery, so they could say “Look, this car can’t be used because it gets 120 miles per charge. Could you imagine if they didn’t fight the electric car where we would be today??
Solar power: Can we incorporate magnifying glasses??
