how do you remove kerosene from water in well?

Not trying to be funny…would there be detrimental effect from burning the oil?
Is it possible to get a floating pool skimmer down in your well?
I’ll bet there are some old WWII submarine sailors who can tell you that you can get used to drinking diluted #2 diesel, however I’d look into a filtration system.
